NEW YORK — A driver fleeing from police left 14 people injured in the Bronx Wednesday after slamming into seven other cars.
Officers with the 46th Precinct said they attempted to stop the driver of a bright green Mercedes-Benz for excessive tints and smoking marijuana Wednesday, at around 5pm on East Fordham Road and Marion Avenue.
When officers attempted to pull him over, he tried to flee from the scene, police said.
Videos posted to social media shows the chaos that unfolded, as the driver slammed into several others vehicles.
Footage then shows him go up onto the sidewalk and continue to drive down the road.
The car was later found abandoned along Hughes Avenue, police said.
No arrests were made and the investigation is ongoing, according to police.
All of the victims suffered minor injuries.
