On June 4, 2025, in Riverton, Utah, a 16-year-old boy allegedly shot his 35-year-old uncle three times during an argument.
Officers responded to the scene near 13480 South Homestead Lane.
The incident was captured on a neighbor’s video, showing the teen entering a car with another person before firing the shots and fleeing the scene.
The uncle sustained serious injuries but is expected to survive.
The teenager was later apprehended near the Riverton and Herriman border and taken into custody.
