Maserati driver opens fire during road rage incident in Washington DC

A Maserati driver opened fire on another driver in broad daylight during an apparent road rage incident caught on video last Wednesday in Washington, DC.

Video show the gunman getting out of his vehicle at a traffic stop and walking over to the driver’s side of a car stopped in front of him. He then pulls out a gun and opens fire.

The incident took place on the 1600 block of Eastern Avenue just after 5pm, police said.

In an effort to flee the attack the victim sped away from the shooter. The suspect then turned and aimed his gun at oncoming traffic before fleeing the scene in the now wanted Maserati.

Following the assault, police responded to the vehicle that came under fire parked a few blocks away, and found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound, according to NBC News.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital where she suffered minor, non-life threatening injuries.

Anyone who can help identify the vehicle or the suspect is asked to call police at (202) 727-9099 or text a tip to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411.
