VIDEO: Two people charged following brutal assault at Niagara Falls gas station

NIAGARA FALLS, NY — Two people have been charged following a brutal assault caught on video outside of the Raymart on Pine Avenue in Niagara Falls.

Officers were dispatched to the Raymart located at 925 Pine Avenue on July 27, following multiple reports of a fight.

Police said the assault unfolded at around 10:15pm Tuesday night.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a 34-year-old man laying on the ground near some gas pumps. Police said the man was “motionless and unresponsive.”

The victim was transported to ECMC where he was listed in stable condition with multiple facial fractures.

Police arrested and charged 22-year-old Eddie Thomas, of Niagara Falls, with second-degree assault for his role in the attack.

A second suspect, later identified as 37-year-old Quennel Jordan, was arrested Wednesday morning after he allegedly fled the scene prior to police arrival.

Jordan was charged with one count of assault in the second degree and also faces several other charges in connection with other incidents.

Police said Jordan hit a 62-year-old in the head with a baseball bat on July 19, who suffered serious injuries and remains hospitalized.

Jordan was arraigned Thursday in Niagara Falls City Court and held on $60,000 bail. He is due back in court on August 4, according to a report from WIVB.
