FEMALE SHOOTER: Woman executed on Brooklyn sidewalk video shows

NEW YORK — An execution caught on video shows the chilling moment a female assassin shot another woman in back of the head in Brooklyn Wednesday night.

Video released by police shows 42-year-old Delia Johnson speaking to a group of people at around 9:40pm on Franklin Avenue in Crown Heights — when she was gunned down by a female shooter.

Footage shows the suspect walk up on Johnson and shoot her in back of the head. As Johnson hits the ground, the woman fires several other shots before walking back to a white sedan and driving off.

When officers arrived at the scene they found Johnson unresponsive and unconscious with gunshot wounds to the head and legs, police said.

She was later pronounced dead at the hospital, according to police.

Family members believe the shooter followed Johnson from a funeral in the neighborhood earlier in the day.

Although police have not released a motive for the shooting, her sister Cordelia Barry believes jealousy could be at cause.

“She was Miss Electric. She was the life of the party. She was a rainbow,” Cordelia said. “She had her own business. She was an entrepreneur – fashion was her passion. When you succeed in life that way, people are jealous.”

Police have yet to make an arrest.
