Newly released surveillance video shows the moment a woman was shot and killed by a sicario in Guatemala.
The homicide took place on January 4 in the city of Chiquimula, according to local reports.
Footage of the incident shows the hitman chasing the victim, later identified as 33-year-old Keyla Yessenia Villeda Castillo, while firing his gun at her. Keyla eventually collapses on the ground and the gunman shoots her once more in the head before taking off running, according to the video.
The victim was taken to an area hospital where she underwent surgery but unfortunately succumbed to her injuries.
A motive for the attack is unknown and the suspect remains at large at this time.
Witnesses and coworkers said Keyla had just gone out for lunch when the attacker reportedly waited for her outside of her job before committing the heinous crime.
