A series of violent incidents involving teenagers occurred during and after the Birmingham Village Fair in Michigan, raising concerns among organizers and the community.
On Friday night, a brawl broke out around 10:30 p.m. near E. Merrill and S. Old Woodward, following the conclusion of the fair.
Video footage of the altercation shows several teens engaged in a physical fight. Three teenage girls from West Bloomfield, Southfield, and Sterling Heights were arrested, and an 18-year-old from Detroit was hospitalized. Authorities have not confirmed whether the individuals involved had attended the fair.
Earlier that evening, around 8:30 p.m., another fight led to the arrest of two teens, and on Sunday, a separate altercation in the Ferris wheel line resulted in the arrest of a teen from Commerce Township.
