Distressing video shows the moment a 5-year-old child was crushed to death by a falling tree in Russia. The boy died on the spot.
“In the village of Dombay in Karachay-Cherkessia, a five-year-old child died due to a fallen tree. This was reported on Tuesday, April 30, by the press service of the investigative department of the Russian Investigative Committee for the region.
It is reported that on April 29, a tree fell on the road near the Muruju River. The child, who was with his family near the car, died on the spot from his injuries.
“The department’s investigators are carrying out a set of verification measures aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the incident,” the Investigative Committee said in its publication.
Earlier, on April 21, it became known that in Krasnogorsk near Moscow, the top of a tree fell on a playground, and a two-year-old girl was hospitalized with an open head injury. She was later reported to have died. According to Izvestia, a criminal case has been opened into the incident under the article “Negligence”.”
