46-year-old Brent Michael Hospelhorn, owner of Scottsdale building firm BPH Construction LLP, was charged on Thursday with one count of intentional assault with physical injury.
Video shows Hospelhorn striking a female employee over a scratched cabinet at a property in north Phoenix on Tuesday.
The widespread backlash eventually forced Phoenix police to arrest the suspect for assault, Phoenix PD said in a statement.
