Police investigating attack caught on video at Howell High School
MICHIGAN — Police are investigating an attack caught on video at Howell High School which shows two students beating another teen.
It is unclear when the assault took place although social media posts suggest the incident took place in September.
Video of the attack shows four students outside of the high school approach another student shortly after the end of a school day.
Two of the four youths then charge at the teen and began punching him, forcing him to the ground.
As the victim laid on the floor, the assailants punched and kicked him repeatedly before eventually taking off, bringing an end to the video.
“Upon learning of the incident, the high school administration worked quickly to identify those involved,” Howell Public Schools Superintendent Erin MacGregor said in a statement. “As a school and a district, we do not tolerate this type of behavior.”
Howell Police said the department is investigating the incident although no further details have been released at this time.
