CRANSTON, R.I. — Cranston police shared bodycam footage of a traffic stop that led to a drug bust last week.
According to police, an officer conducted a traffic stop at Park Avenue and Reservoir Avenue.
New footage shows police finding a secret compartment inside the vehicle that was filled with illegal narcotics.
An officer finds an opening in the right side of the back seat. A large amount of drugs were found inside that compartment.
Cranston police said 11 kilograms of cocaine, 2.2 grams of fentanyl powder, 11 pressed fentanyl pills, 10 ounces of marijuana and $1,700 were seized during the search.
Teddy Lopez, 21, of Cranston, was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine with intent to deliver, two counts of possession of schedule II narcotics under 10 grams and possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, police said.
