Car crashes into Berean Baptist Church in Fayetteville, suspects flee

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A car slammed into the front of Berean Baptist Church early Tuesday morning, causing significant damage to the building’s entrance.

The incident occurred around 2 a.m., according to a Facebook post by the church. Security footage shows the car speeding down Glensford Drive, entering the church’s parking lot, and crashing through bushes before striking the front doors. Sparks are seen flying as the vehicle hits a median just before impact.

Two individuals were seen exiting the car and fleeing the scene on foot. No injuries were reported.
