Cincinnati firefighter arrested following gun battle outside Colerain sports bar in Ohio: video

A Cincinnati firefighter is being held in the Hamilton County Justice Center on a $50,000 bond.

Mack Ogletree is charged with two counts of felonious assault for his involvement in a shooting on Aug. 11 in Colerain Township.

Video of the incident shows several people arguing outside the 629 Sports Bar on Pippin Road.

A scuffle then led to two people firing guns.

In the video, a man wearing a white shirt appears to be the first person to fire multiple rounds fired by a man wearing black firing back.

Thirty seconds later, you can hear another barrage of bullets.

Neighbors started calling 911 in a panic.

No one was killed, but investigators say two people were injured, including an innocent bystander.

According to an internal memo from Cincinnati’s city manager to council members, Ogletree was arrested yesterday while working an overtime shift at Fire Company 21 in Fairmount. His regular assignment is to Engine 23 in Walnut Hills.

He has been placed on unpaid administrative leave pending the outcome of both the criminal investigation and an internal review.
