WASHINGTON DC – A spokesperson for Connecticut Rep. John Larson said he suffered from an adverse rection to medication while on the House floor on Monday.
Larson thanked his supporters for the well wishes after the incident.
“He had what was likely an adverse reaction to a new medication and is having tests administered by the House attending physician out of an abundance of caution,” the spokesperson said.
The spokesperson said Larson participated in multiple meetings in his office on Monday afternoon and was alert and engaged.
“Rep. Larson remains in touch with our staff and in good spirits,” his team said.
