New video shows the moment a conscript soldier with Ukraine’s National Guard went on a killing rampage inside a machine factory, shooting five people dead and wounding five others.
The events took place at around 3:40pm local time inside the facility in Dnipro as weapons were being distributed.
According to Ukraine’s Interior Ministry, 21-year-old guardsman Artemiy Ryabchuk shot at a group of colleagues, leaving four servicemen and a civilian woman dead, while also wounding another five.
Ryabchuk then fled the compound with a weapon, but was apprehended by police shortly after.
A motive behind the shooting spree is unknown at this time.
