Ukrainian cynologist Igor Ikar Bakun along with his three German Shepherds dogs were shot and killed after getting ambushed by Russian soldiers in Ukraine.
Bakun was in his car along with his son and four of his German Shepherds dogs, when Russian troops opened fire on the cynologist’s vehicle.
Igor Ikar Bakun died at the scene and the corpses of three slaughtered canines were found in the vehicle.
His only surviving dog refused to leave his body.
The son was also injured in the attack although his condition is unknown.
