Dashcam catches road rage crash between minivan, motorcycle in Oregon

BEAVERTON, Ore. — Beaverton Police released dashcam video of what it says was a hit-and-run between a minivan and a motorcycle on Highway 26 Monday morning in a possible case of road rage. Police are searching for the minivan driver.

It happened around 6:16 a.m. on westbound Highway 26, between Highway 217 and Cedar Hills Boulevard.

The video shows the minivan, identified as a blue, late-model Kia Carnival in the passing lane and the motorcyclist in the center lane. The motorcyclist is seen pointing and gesturing to the driver of the minivan. Moments later, the minivan veers into the motorcycle, causing the rider to lose control and crash. The minivan driver then kept going down the highway.

The rider sustained serious injuries and and was taken to the hospital.

Investigators believe the Kia driver did this intentionally. He has been identified as a white male, about 30-to-40 years old with a black beard. The Beaverton Police Department is actively seeking the driver and the Kia.
