COLUMBUS, Ohio — Dashcam footage released by Columbus police shows a cruiser crashing while responding to a shooting involving Mifflin Township officers.
The video captures the officer swerving around traffic before the collision.
Police said the two officers and the driver of the Jeep were OK. The driver of the Jeep was cited and released.
The incident occurred as officers were en route to the scene where a suspect had fired at multiple officers.
The suspect, identified as Daveonte Dixon, was later apprehended.
