A domestic violence call turned into a police-involved shooting on the 400 block of Jibboom Street, Sacramento police said.
SPD said the suspect fled the scene from the officers on foot, holding what they believe to be a handgun, and was last seen near the waterline behind Matsui Park.
No officers were injured, and the suspect has been taken to the hospital to be treated and is in stable condition.
