Employee attacked in robbery at Papa John’s in the Bronx

THE BRONX, N.Y. – A Papa John’s employee was attacked during a robbery at the pizzeria in the Bronx on Saturday, according to the NYPD.

Police said the three suspects walked into Papa John’s, located at 362 East 204th Street, around 11:30 p.m. The group is accused of getting into an argument with the 32-year-old employee before they pounded him with closed fists, according to the NYPD.

Police said the suspects then allegedly stole merchandise from the pizzeria before running off.

The victim suffered injuries to his head and face, according to authorities.
