An ex-convict was shot to death outside a Queens deli during an argument with his killer, according to video and reports.
25-year-old Joseph Valdez got into a verbal confrontation with a man who pulled out a gun and opened fire outside a deli on 21st St. near 41st Ave. in Astoria at around 10pm on Monday November 20th.
Valdez suffered three gunshot wounds to the arm and upper body.
Joseph Valdez was taken to New York-Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell, but succumbed to his injuries.
The gunman ran off and remains on the loose.
Valdez, who lived in upper Manhattan, was convicted of attempted murder in Manhattan in 2015 and sentenced to up to five years in state prison, records show.
