The FBI has shared photos of a person of interest in connection with the fatal shooting of conservative influencer Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University. The images show a tall male wearing all-dark clothing, wraparound sunglasses, a dark hat, and a long-sleeve shirt with what appears to be an American flag.
Charlie Kirk was shot by a sniper while speaking at the Losee Center on campus, approximately 200 yards away from where the suspect reportedly fired. Two individuals detained earlier in relation to the incident were later released or charged with unrelated offenses.
Authorities believe the murder weapon was a .30-06 caliber Mauser bolt-action rifle wrapped in a towel and found in wooded area near the Orem campus.
Anyone who can identify the person in the photos is urged to contact the FBI tip line by calling 1-800-CALL-FBI or by submitting a tip digitally.
