A female bartender was brutally beaten after refusing to sell a second bottle of alcohol to an intoxicated customer in Ukraine.
“A drunk man attacked a bar employee in Zaporozhye because she made a remark to them and did not want to give him another bottle of alcohol.
“On September 26, an unknown man inflicted bodily harm on her in one of the recreational establishments. The author also reports that she called the police to the scene and filed a report of the crime, but within 24 hours no criminal proceedings were initiated,” law enforcement officials said.
The attacker was a 28-year-old local resident. The investigation is deciding on the qualification of his illegal actions with the aim of bringing him to criminal responsibility.
An official investigation has been ordered into the police officers’ failure to respond in a timely manner to a report of a crime.”
