Female motorcyclist killed after getting struck by train in Vietnam

A female motorcyclist is dead after she was struck by a train in Vietnam, according to video and reports.

“Initial information, the railway traffic accident occurred at 6:30 a.m. on January 30, at the self-opening walkway Km92+700 Cong My, Nam Son commune, An Duong district, Hai Phong city.

At the above time, passenger train LP2, locomotive number 630 going in the direction of Hai Phong – Hanoi collided with a motorbike with registration plate 15B3-446.xx driven by Ms. PTH (born 1964, residing in Nam Son commune, An Duong district , Hai Phong City) controlled, going in the direction from Nam Son commune towards Hung Vuong street.

After the collision, Ms. H died on the spot and her motorbike was seriously damaged.

According to the camera recording the incident, at the scene, railway volunteers were on the lookout and issued flags and whistles from afar to warn. In addition, there was a vendor next to the street shouting, but the victim still passed by, leading to the accident.

Currently, the case is accepted and resolved by An Duong District Police according to regulations.”
