Fight breaks out at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport

MINNESOTA — Police are investigating a fight that broke out at Terminal 2 of Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport just before midnight Friday.

After large groups deplaned from a Frontier Airlines flight, fighting broke out amongst a dozen or so male and female passengers, said Patrick Hogan, spokesman for the Metropolitan Airports Commission.

Video of the incident was posted on social media and shared by more than 7,000 people by midday Monday.

Punches were exchanged among several people and some of them threw stanchions and broke chairs, Hogan said.

No serious injuries have been reported and no arrests have been made at this time.

The fight remains under investigation.
