A grandmotherand her 20-year-old granddaughter were killed in a road accident in Honduras.
” A grandmother and her granddaughter died during a tragic traffic accident that occurred this Wednesday in western Honduras.
The accident resulted in the deaths of Escarleth Nicol, 20 , who was driving the car, and her grandmother, Cristina Guardado Ramírez , 70.
The incident occurred after the vehicle suffered mechanical failure , and the motorcyclist lost control and collided with a house.
Two other people who were travelling in the car were injured and were taken to a local medical centre.
One of the victims was thrown out the front of the vehicle due to the impact and died at the scene from his injuries, while the other person died in hospital.
So far, no official report has been filed by the police authorities . Relatives of the victims arrived at the scene and removed the body of Cristina Guardado Ramírez.”
