NEW YORK – One person is dead and three others were injured Saturday after a man on a scooter went on a random shooting in Brooklyn and Queens, according to new videos and reports.
According to police, 25-year-old Thomas Abreu traveled to five locations, spanning Brooklyn to Queens.
The first shooting took place just after 11am in Brooklyn at Ashford Street and Arlington Avenue. A 21-year-old man was shot in the shoulder.
That shooting was captured on video.
Seventeen minutes later, surveillance video captured Thomas Abreu make a U-turn on Jamaica Avenue and 109th Street in Richmond Hill, Queens, while appearing to target a person walking in the opposite direction before opening fire.
An 86-year-old man was struck and died.

Minutes later, Abreu randomly shot at a group of people but nobody was hit.
At 11:35am, Abreu shot a 44-year-old man in his cheek in Queens. That man is in critical condition.
Abreu then shot a 63-year-old man shot in the shoulder. He’s hospitalized in stable condition.
Thomas Abreu has been charged with murder, two counts of attempted murder and six counts of criminal possession of a weapon.
A motive is unknown at this time and police said Abreu appeared to have randomly selected his victims.
