New video shows a man getting beaten with baseball bats and stabbed with a pitchfork in broad daylight in Ireland.
Video of the attack which took place in the town of Tullamore, in County Offaly, is making the rounds on social media platforms.
The clip shows a number of men and women, armed with melee weapons, running after a man seen holding a pitchfork as he runs down a street.
The group eventually catch up with the man, knock him to the ground and beat him with baseball bats.
The man is struck several times as he is lying on the ground and as the onslaught continues.
A number of women then approach the scene and kick the man, before picking up the victim’s pitchfork and assaulting/stabbing him with it.
No arrests have been made at this time. An investigation is underway.
A motive for the attack is unclear.
