Uncensored video below — Disturbing new video shows an Iranian man walking with his 17-year-old wife’s severed head, whom he beheaded in an “honor killing,” local reports say.
Officials say Sajjad Heydari paraded through a neighborhood in Ahvaz on Saturday, in the province of Khuzestan, with Mona Heydari’s head in one hand and a knife in the other.
Mona had been forced to marry Sajjad when she was just 12 years old, according to the Women’s Committee of the National Council of Resistance of Iran.
Having suffered from domestic abuse, she fled to Turkey, leaving behind their 3-year-old son — but only to return shortly after to Iran, finding it hard to live alone in another country.
A few days later, Sajjad and his brother reportedly tied Mona’s hands and cut off her head. They then dumped her body before her husband paraded through the streets with her severed head.
Authorities said the motive for the murder was “family differences”.
