Man fatally stabs girlfriend in the chest during argument in Brazil

A man fatally stabbed his girlfriend in the chest during an argument in Brazil, according to video and reports.

“A 20-year-old woman was murdered with two stab wounds to the chest inside the apartment where she lived, in the early hours of this Tuesday (19) in Gramame, a neighborhood in João Pessoa, and her partner is the main suspect in the crime.

According to the Civil Police, witnesses reported that Hailie Vitória Barbosa da Silva had been living there for a short time and was drinking with the man and even posted videos on a social network shortly before being stabbed to death.

Neighbors heard screams coming from the apartment and when they arrived at the property, they found the young woman dying on the floor in the bathroom.

Hailie was rushed to the capital’s Emergency and Trauma Hospital. The unit’s press office informed Notícia Paraíba that she did not survive and died.

Police are analyzing images from a security camera in the building in which the suspect appears leaving the victim’s building at 00:23.

The man remains at large and the case is being investigated.”
