Man reverses car, deliberately runs over pedestrian twice in London

LONDON, UK — Tower Hamlets Metropolitan Police are investigating a shocking incident where a white vehicle allegedly reversed into a pedestrian twice during an assault.

It happened in Limehouse, East London on Saturday evening

Video shows the driver reversing into a man wearing orange, knocking him down, then reversing again—sending the victim into the air before fleeing the scene. Bystanders attempted to intervene as the driver and passengers fled on foot.

The injured man, believed to be in his 40s, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police confirmed this was one of two similar vehicle assaults in the same area on the same day; no other serious injuries were reported.

An 18-year-old male has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. Three other suspects from the vehicle remain at large. Authorities are urging witnesses—including a second victim—to come forward with information.
