Police in New York are searching for a man seen on video punching a toddler inside a restaurant in Harlem.
Police say the suspect walked into the Red Star restaurant on Adam Clayton Powell Boulevard at around 5:40pm Saturday while carrying “a small child”.
Video shows the man dump the young victim on the ground before striking the tot — causing the child to fall down, the NYPD said in a statement.
The man then put the child in a stroller and left the establishment on foot in an unknown direction.
The toddler’s age and gender are unknown.
The suspect is believed to be 20 to 30 years old.
