According to officials, Louisiana Police, the Pike County Sheriff’s Office and Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a shooting on North 4th Street in Louisiana.
Investigations revealed a 24-year-old man shot Daniel Norris, 53, in what appears to be self-defense.
Norris was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say this appears to be an isolated incident between the two men.
The shooting remains under investigation.
