China — A shocking video making the rounds on social media appears to show a man repeatedly stabbing his ex-wife in public in China, sparking outrage and questions about law enforcement’s response.
The attack took place in front of bystanders and police officers. In the footage, the man lunges at the woman with a knife, pins her to the ground and stabs her more than 20 times while onlookers shout for him to stop.
Online reports say the assault stemmed from a bitter divorce. The woman had reportedly begun a new life after the separation, while the man allegedly harbored jealousy and resentment.
