BROOKLYN, New York — An 86-year-old man was decapitated after he was struck by a Department of Transportation truck in Brooklyn Wednesday afternoon, according to graphic video and reports.
Officers responded to a call at 3:30 p.m. for a pedestrian struck at 92nd Street and Dahlgren Place in Bay Ridge, police said.
The man was crossing the street when he was struck by the truck traveling northbound on Dahlgren Place.
The man was decapitated when he was hit by the vehicle.
The driver remained on the scene.
