Man sucker punched and knocked unconscious in Venice, CA
CALIFORNIA — A man was sucker punched and knocked unconscious in Venice.
The sucker-punch attack happened at about 5pm on January 16 at the intersection of Washington and Speedway boulevards, the LAPD said in a statement.
Authorities said the two men were arguing when the man in the white Dodgers jersey threw one punch, knocking out the other man.
It was not immediately clear what led to the argument.
Footage of the assault released by police in an effort to identify the suspect — shows the victim fall to the ground after being punched in the face.
The man was taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries, police said.
