INDIA — Disturbing CCTV footage shows a man violently slamming a young boy to the ground, leaving him unconscious in a brutal attack that is now under police investigation.

The incident happened on February 20 in the Golaganj area of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The footage surfaced days later after the child’s condition reportedly worsened.

According to reports, the victim, identified as 10-year-old Abdul Nasir, had gone to a mosque before playing cricket with other children nearby. During the game, a 22-year-old man approached him, grabbed him, lifted him, and forcefully slammed him onto the ground before walking away.

The boy was initially taken home, with claims he had fainted while playing. He was later transported to multiple hospitals as his condition declined, eventually requiring further medical evaluation.

Family members say they later learned what actually happened from other children who witnessed the attack. A formal complaint was filed, and police have confirmed that a case has been registered.

Authorities say the investigation is ongoing.
