Video shows the moment a mechanic was fatally shot in the head in front of his workshop in Argentina, reportedly over a settling of scores.
“A 40-year-old mechanic was shot in the head when he was in front of his workshop in the Villa Galicia neighborhood, in Lomas de Zamora, where he was surprised by two men who approached on a motorcycle, one of whom shot him. in what is suspected to have been a settling of accounts, police and judicial sources reported today.
The incident occurred yesterday at noon in front of a mechanical workshop located at 1600 Iriarte, Villa Galicia.
As recorded by a security camera, two people with helmets on stopped aboard a motorcycle at the door of the workshop and the mechanic, identified as Leonardo Abel Micheli, approached with apparent intentions to speak to them.
In the video you can see that at that moment the passenger on the motorcycle, who had gotten off and was standing on the sidewalk, points a gun at him and shoots him in the head.
As a result of the attack, Micheli collapsed, injured, on a parked trailer, while the occupants of the motorcycle escaped.
The victim was rushed to the Bicentenario Hospital in Monte Grande, where he underwent surgery and remained in intensive care.
Due to the mechanics of the attack, investigators believe that it was a settling of scores, the motivations for which are a matter of investigation.”
