MEMPHIS, Tenn. – A “large fight” broke out at Crosstown Concourse on Tuesday afternoon, resulting in four people detained and an injured police officer, according to the Memphis Police Department (MPD).
MPD said it happened around 4 p.m. Tuesday.
Police said officers responded to “a disturbance” inside an unnamed business at Crosstown Concourse. A fight broke out while police were on scene, leading to officers detaining four people.
MPD said Tuesday night that two people were released without being charged while the other two remained detained.
An officer was hurt but that officer was expected to be OK, MPD said.
