Mother pushing baby in stroller robbed in Hancock Park

CALIFORNIA — A mother pushing her baby in a stroller was robbed just moments after returning home from a walk in Hancock Park, newly released surveillance video shows.

The incident took place at around 5:10pm on November 28, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Footage shows the woman and her child entering their front driveway after a gate opens. Meanwhile, the video also shows two male subjects getting out of a car that had just parked across the street from the home.

As the woman walks up the steps leading to the front door of their home, the suspects approach the two victims and demand that she hand over property.

Fearing for her and her child’s safety, the victim complied and handed over her diaper bag and bottle cooler, the LAPD said.

Both suspects remain at large at this time.

The first suspect is described as a Black male about 20 to 29 years of age. He was last seen wearing a light-colored mask, a black hoodie, red sweats with white writing or a logo and white shoes.

The second suspect is also described as a Black male between 20 and 29 years old. He was last seen wearing a black face mask, a gray hoodie, black sweats and black shoes.

Anyone with information about their whereabouts is asked to call Wilshire robbery Detective M. Flores at 213-922-8217.
