Motorcyclist shot and killed on Skibo Road following road rage incident in Fayetteville
NORTH CAROLINA — Police in Fayetteville have arrested a 51-year-old man who shot and killed a motorcyclist following a road rage incident on Skibo Road.
Police say 32-year-old Stephen Addison was returning home from the gym when he got into an argument with the occupants of a pickup truck.
Video of the incident shows Addison arguing with what appears to be the truck’s passenger while pulled over at the intersection.
Suddenly, a gunshot can be heard and Addison drops to the ground.
The pickup truck then reportedly fled the scene.
Addison, an Army veteran and father of three children, was rushed to a hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Police say they have arrested 51-year-old Roger Dale Nobles in connection with the shooting, the driver of the pickup truck. Dale Nobles has been charged with first-degree murder Monday evening and is being held at the Cumberland County Jail without bond, according to police.
