MPD issues warrant for man shown in viral video of beating dog inside car

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – MPD has identified the man who was shown in the viral video beating a small dog in the back of a car.

A warrant has been sent out for Justin Johnson.

The video seems to have been taken at the Dodge’s Southern Style Chicken located on Elvis Presley Boulevard in Whitehaven.

You can hear the dog yelping in the video while the man allegedly punches the dog several times.
