WALKER, Texas — Newly released body camera video from the Huntsville Police Department in Walker County, Texas, shows the moment Leo Tate and Jermaine Donald were apprehended.
The video shows officers surrounding a white SUV on the side of a Texas highway.
Several Texas law enforcement officers approached the SUV with rifles drawn and ordered the men to show their hands. the officers then pulled the men out of the vehicle and onto the ground as they were handcuffed.
Both men were recaptured Monday in Texas after escaping from the Orleans Parish jail 12 days ago.
They were arrested after leading law enforcement officers from several agencies on a high-speed chase through the Huntsville area.
