NYC girl crashes out on Southwest Airlines flight

NEW YORK, NY — A chaotic scene unfolded aboard a Southwest Airlines flight at LaGuardia Airport early Tuesday morning when 32-year-old Leanna Perry, reportedly intoxicated, violently attacked a fellow passenger before takeoff.

According to video of the incident, Perry grabbed another woman’s hair, hurled profanities, and continued pulling as cabin crew attempted to restrain her. She also kicked other passengers and screamed offensively—even after being zip-tied.

In the footage, Perry collapses between seats, repeatedly shouting, “I can’t breathe,” while swinging her legs. Crew and fellow passengers restrained her until Port Authority Police arrived.

Officers arrested Perry and charged her with aggravated assault.

She was taken to a hospital for evaluation before being handed over to New York City Department of Corrections. Southwest Airlines confirmed she was denied boarding and praised the crew’s professional handling.
