Paratroopers injured during Arizona Baseball Military Appreciation Night

TUCSON, Ariz. – During the Arizona Baseball Military Appreciation Night, two paratroopers were injured in a mishap during the pre-game ceremony. The Tucson Fire Department (TFD) responded swiftly to the medical emergency.

According to TFD, the paratroopers were promptly transported to receive necessary medical attention. 

University officials say one paratrooper had a dislocated shoulder and the other suffered a back injury. Both are expected to make a full recovery.

University officials say the wind limits were not beyond their standards at the time of the jump, and they are looking into what happened.
