Police investigating after video shows suspect firing gun at passing car in Georgetown

GEORGETOWN, Ky. – Police in Georgetown are investigating after video showed a suspect firing a gun at a passing car.

It happened Monday evening in the area of Camp Creek Way and Donovan Lane.

Surveillance video shows three shots being fired. No one was injured, but the car was struck by a bullet.

The shooter is unknown at this time and investigators believe that this was a completely random shooting, and it doesn’t appear the person in the passing vehicle knew the shooter.
