Sicarios suspected of attempted murder beaten to death and set ablaze in Ecuador

New videos posted online show the moment two sicarios were beaten to death and set ablaze by an angry mob in Ecuador.

The attack took place on Christmas day in Bahía de Caráquez, in Sucre county, Manabí province, according to local news outlets.

A preliminary report said the two gunmen would have attempted to kill a citizen in the area — when they were intercepted by several neighborhood residents who beat them unconscious and lit their bodies on fire.

An investigation is ongoing.
