NASHVILLE, Tenn. — An investigation is underway to find the suspect in a hit-and-run crash that took place in broad daylight Sunday.
Surveillance video shows Zachary Carach, 21, using a crosswalk on Church Street in Midtown Nashville before he is hit by a white Mitsubishi Mirage. Metro Nashville Police Department is currently working to identify the suspect.
Carach, a Florida resident, was treated at Vanderbilt University Medical Center with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Police say the driver of the Mitsubishi Mirage did not slow down after hitting Carach, adding the vehicle may have sustained front end damage to the passenger side.
