Police seeking suspects seen on video assaulting clerk, robbing store in Fresno County

CALIFORNIA — Police are looking for three suspects seen on video assaulting a store clerk during an armed robbery at a Fresno County store.

The crime took place on January 13 at around 5:30am at the Circle C Market on Kings Canyon in Centerville, according to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities said a man and a woman, who was armed with a semi-automatic handgun, walked up to the store clerk and assaulted her, causing her to hit the ground.

As the man then helped himself to the cash register, a third suspect walked in.

All three eventually ran from the store before taking off in a getaway car.

The store clerk suffered minor injuries and is expected to be ok.

The Sheriff’s Office described the suspected robbers as follow:

  • A Hispanic man, aged between 30 and 40 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 290 pounds with black hair, wearing a black face mask with the word “Cookies” on it, red gloves, and white Nike Air Force 1 shoes.
  • A Hispanic woman aged between 30 and 40 years old, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 200 pounds with dark hair, wearing a bright yellowish–green gaiter-style face mask and holding a black semi-automatic handgun.
  • A Hispanic man aged between 35 and 45 years old, around 6 feet tall, 180 pounds, with dark hair.
