Two suspects who shot a man dead inside a restaurant were beaten by a mob in Colombia, according to videos and reports.
“Moments of tension were experienced before noon on Monday, September 9, in the urban area of the municipality of Puerto Colombia, belonging to the metropolitan area of Barranquilla, after a shooting that claimed the life of a man on the terrace of a restaurant.
Witnesses said the victim, preliminarily identified as Luis Castillo, was sitting at a table in the business and was approached by a criminal who shot him at least three times in the head.
The shots alerted the community and, after a chase, they quickly caught two young men as alleged suspects.
Agents from the Metropolitan Police of Barranquilla had to intervene in the action after an attempted lynching against the two young men accused of committing the crime.”
